Last night I spent the evening at the Riverside ArtsWalk, one of my favorite community events in Downtown Riverside. It takes place every first Thursday of the month from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, centered around the Main Street Pedestrian Mall, Mission Inn Avenue, and the surrounding downtown galleries, museums, restaurants, and businesses.
The ArtsWalk began in 2002 to celebrate Riverside's growing arts community. Today, more than 20 galleries, museums, studios, libraries, and creative spaces participate, along with over 120 artisan vendors, live musicians, performers, and food options. Many venues—including the Riverside Art Museum and The Cheech—offer free admission during the event, making it one of the best free nights out
Whether you're looking for a date night, family outing, or just a reason to explore downtown, Riverside ArtsWalk is a great reminder that our city has a vibrant arts and culture scene that's worth experiencing. I'll definitely be back next month
