Hidden Coffee Shop in the Middle of Nowhere? | Flowerbud Coffee, Jurupa Valley

For today's stop, I found one of the Inland Empire's most unexpected coffee shops.

At first glance, you'd probably drive right past it. Flowerbud Coffee is tucked away in the middle of an industrial area in Jurupa Valley, surrounded by warehouses and businesses—including what looks like a carpet company. It's the kind of place you'd never expect to find a specialty coffee shop.

And that's exactly what makes it so interesting.

Inside, the café is surprisingly small, giving it a cozy, neighborhood feel. But step outside, and you'll find a large patio that's perfect for enjoying your coffee, meeting up with friends, or getting a little work done. It feels like a hidden oasis in a place where you'd least expect one.

One thing Flowerbud is known for is putting a creative twist on classic coffee drinks. I decided to try their Café de Olla. Normally, I drink it hot, but with temperatures pushing well over 100 degrees, they only served it iced—and honestly, it worked. It kept all those warm cinnamon and spice flavors that make Café de Olla unique, but turned it into something incredibly refreshing for a hot summer day.

It's places like this that remind me why I enjoy exploring the Inland Empire. Sometimes the best local businesses aren't on the busiest streets or in the biggest shopping centers. They're hidden in plain sight, waiting for someone to stumble across them.
